Augusto Amorim  

Augusto Amorim

Augusto Amorim is responsible for IHS Automotive's forecasting for the South American market. In addition to being a native from Brazil, he has a vast network of contacts with regional leaders of the auto industry, which are both critical to understanding and being updated with the South American auto market. By doing so, he assures that IHS Automotive's clientele get results that include a full comprehension of economic trends and consumer behavior.

A journalist who covered the auto industry for 12 years and attended the main auto shows and product launches all over the world, Augusto uses his communications skills to share more than forecast numbers with customers. He helps clients to build a story of success by planning sales correctly, which is in line with IHS Automotive's Forecasting mission of advancing the transportation industry’s ability to plan for the future.

Augusto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Faculdade de Comunicação Social Cásper Líbero (São Paulo, Brazil), a Master’s of Consumer Behavior from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (São Paulo, Brazil) and a Master’s of Business Administration from Hult International Business School (Boston and San Francisco). He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Marc Bland  

Marc Bland

As IHS Automotive's Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion, Marc is responsible for the development and enhancement of Polk's multicultural business opportunities within the growing and diverse automotive market. Marc speaks regularly on diversity subjects and his industry knowledge and insight has been published in the following books: The 85% Niche: The Power of Women of All Colors - Latina, Black, and Asian by Miriam Muley, Black Is the New Green: Marketing to Affluent African Americans by Leonard E. Burnett & Andrea Hoffman and Black STILL Matters in Marketing by Pepper Miller.

Marc Bland was recently honored by two different organizations for his significant professional and personal contributions to the African-American community. He received the Men of Excellence award from Detroit’s Michigan Chronicle as well as the distinguished national award of Research Executive of the Year during the Marketing to African-Americans with Excellence Awards (MAAX) by Target Market News.

A proud husband and father of four, Marc also graciously serves as a mentor to many. As part of his mission to help prepare young people for professional opportunities ahead of them, Marc developed and regularly presents a program that highlights the benefits of small things that make a big difference like proper greetings, firm handshakes, eye contact and dressing the part to a variety of groups throughout the Metro Detroit area, including New Detroit's Camp Enterprise, the Coleman A. Young Foundation, Detroit Loyola High School and many Churches in the area.

Marc holds a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University and a master's degree from Central Michigan University.

Ben Brown  

Ben Brown

Ben Brown, Account Manager, is a key member of our Commercial Vehicle Solutions team. In his current role, he is responsible for helping commercial OEMs and dealers grow their business in a number of strategic ways.

Ben is a sales-driven professional with over seven years of experience in developing high-profile customer accounts and working with clients to help them meet their business challenges. His ability to analyze customer needs through his strong consultative skills and suggest products to meet those needs have helped him build a list of highly-satisfied customers.

Ben joined Polk in 2006. Beforehand, he worked as a Sales Representative for Great Dane Trailers.

Ben holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.


Bryan Funke  

Bryan P. Funke

Bryan Funke is Director, Sales and Client Services for the Commercial Vehicle and Automotive Aftermarket teams. In this role, he is responsible for the Customer Development groups. Bryan also leads Polk's Inventory Efficiency Award application and selection process.

Bryan and his teams are especially skillful at applying their vast knowledge to customers to help them reach their business goals and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

A much sought after industry speaker, Bryan has held positions ranging from Engineering to Sales Management and participated in nearly every aspect of the Commercial Vehicle and Aftermarket industries. Over the past 10 years, he has held various positions within the automotive and heavy-duty industries at Polk, Federal Mogul and Diesel Technology.

Bryan is active in many aftermarket, truck and automotive associations including AAIA's Leadership Development Network Committee. He is also the past Vice-Chairman of the Heavy Duty Brake Manufacturers Council.

Bryan earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Grand Valley State University and a master's degree in business administration from Walsh College.


Brad Korner  

Brad Korner

Brad Korner is Vice President Sales and Client Services for our Automotive Retail Solutions and Media team. In this role, Brad is responsible for the overall sales and profitability of the team's accounts.

A seasoned sales executive and industry speaker, Brad and his highly talented team are especially adept at uncovering customer needs and translating those needs into actionable programs and solutions that deliver strong bottom-line results.

Brad's extensive background includes more than 30 years of sales and customer relationship management experience. He joined Polk in 2004 and prior to serving in his current role, Brad was Director of Sales & Client Services for the Automotive Retail Solutions and Media team. Before joining Polk, Brad spent 24 years at Reynolds & Reynolds, where he was responsible for managing all software and document sales, client support and training in the Chicago, Charlotte & Washington D.C. sales regions.

Brad earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.


Joe LaFeir  

Joe LaFeir

Joe LaFeir, Senior Vice President & CIO, is the strategic leader responsible for directing our information services and technology operations. He is responsible for determining long-term information technology needs and developing an overall IT business plan to support the company's vision for the future.

During his 19 years in the IT industry, Joe has held a variety of leadership positions. He joined Polk in 2004 and has served as Vice President, Production and Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, Joe has been Polk's Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at RLPTechnologies; Vice President, Development & Support; and Director, Development & Support. Prior to joining Polk, he spent 12 years at CapGemini Ernst & Young, a global leader in consulting and technology where he served in several roles including senior manager.


Tom Libby  

Tom Libby

Tom Libby is the Lead Analyst for our North American Forecasting Practice. In this role, Tom is responsible for creating and delivering demand-driven forecasting products, services and business intelligence for the North American new vehicle markets.

Libby has more than twenty years of experience in the U.S. automotive industry, including eleven years in sales operations with Ford Motor Company and thirteen years as an automotive analyst with J.D. Power & Associates.

Libby is an active member of the Automotive Press Association and has worked extensively with the national and Michigan-based automotive media, providing commentary and statistical insight about U.S. new and used vehicle market trends.

He has a bachelor's degree in history from Amherst College, an MBA with a marketing concentration from Columbia University, and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Market Research at Pepperdine University. He is a past president and member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Automotive Analysts.

John McBride  

John McBride

John McBride is Director, Sales & Client Services and Digital Marketing Practice Leader. He is responsible for overseeing Polk's media sales and automotive retail services teams as well as leading our efforts to develop solutions to meet our customers' automotive digital strategies.

A sought after industry speaker, John works closely with both traditional and advanced digital media organizations to increase their automotive advertising revenue. Among his many accomplishments, John led Polk's entry into advanced media by implementing behavioral and geographic targeting solutions in the display, mobile and targeted TV segments.

John's background includes extensive experience as a Management Consultant with Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services company. He joined Polk in 2004 and managed Polk's Market Development Team. John began managing the Media Team in 2007. He is an active member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMAD) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

John earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.


Gary Meteer  

Gary Meteer

Gary Meteer, Sr. is Director of Sales & Client Services for the Commercial Vehicle and Automotive Aftermarket teams. Meteer is responsible for the implementation of the commercial vehicle market strategy as well as all aspects related to new business development.

Meteer joined Polk in 2004 with 30 years’ experience in commercial positions at General Motors. While at GM, Meteer held numerous positions, including: director of North American Sales and New Business Development for Europe, assistant general sales manager for Pontiac/GMC Commercial Products, general sales manager for Fleet and Commercial Operations and executive director of Dealer Development for GMICT (General Motors Isuzu Commercial Trucks).

Meteer earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and a master's degree in marketing and advertising from the University of Detroit.


Patrick Reininger  

Patrick Reininger

Patrick Reininger is the Vice President of Sales & Client Services for our Western Region. As a member of our Global Sales Leadership team, Patrick is responsible for managing the customer development and sale of products and services in this key region.

A sought-after speaker, Patrick's extensive professional career is built on more than 23 years of business success in a variety of leadership roles within the automotive industry. Prior to his current position, Patrick served as Vice President & Managing Director for R. L. Polk UK Ltd, where he was the strategic leader for Polk's UK business operations including sales, production and administration. Additionally, Pat has served as Polk's European CRM Director where he was responsible for the commercial development of PolkConnect, an integrated CRM solution that spans the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle. PolkConnect is now utilized in multiple countries and languages.

Before joining Polk, Patrick spent 14 years working for Chrysler Canada Inc., where he held several positions including Manager of Service Marketing & Development.

Patrick holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario.


Mark Seng  

Mark Seng

Mark Seng is Vice President, Aftermarket & Commercial Vehicle and Global Aftermarket Practice Leader, the leader in automotive data and marketing solutions to the automotive world and its related industries. He is responsible for the Aftermarket and Commercial Vehicle business units in North America and leads Polk's Global Aftermarket Practice.

Seng began his aftermarket career in 1984 and has nearly 30 years' experience in both the North America and global aftermarket business. Prior to Polk, he held various positions in distribution, sales, international marketing, product management, data management and e-commerce for Federal-Mogul.

Throughout his career, Seng has been actively involved with industry causes. He began working with the APAA Technology Committee in 1998 and served on the AAIA Technology Standards & Solutions Committee from 2001-2007. Seng also served on the Technology Standards Strategic Planning Committee from 2006-2007. He served 8 years as a Board Member of the National Catalog Managers Association and served as its President from 2004-2007. Seng was a member of MEMA’s Information Services Council from 2003-2007. He is currently serving on the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium Program Committee.


Joe Toth  

Joe Toth

Joe Toth is a Product Manager/Marketing Solution Consultant for our Product Strategy team. A 27 year veteran of Polk, he is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support, product knowledge and product demonstration to current and potential customers.

In his tenure at Polk, Joe has worked fully within the automotive sales organization delivering marketing solutions and strategies to his customers. Joe joined Polk in 1983, working initially as operations professional. In 1986, he began taking on new challenging responsibilities in a variety of sales roles leading him ultimately as an Account Director within the Polk Chrysler team.

In addition to his sales experience, Joe is recognized for his excellent track record in leadership, coaching, team building and communication.
